Nice 17.5” walleye taken on jig tipped with leech!
Later on Tuesday evening at after an exciting morning fishing for Bluegill at Wildwood, my young friend Nolan and I headed back out together but this time to Lake Wanahoo. Fishing was slow, but our focus being on Walleye means you catch less fish, but when you do, its a much better quality fish so it's worth it! Walleye aren't easy, but we had a good Walleye chop going from the South howling winds. Lake was rolling with southern winds, and we saw lots of bait fish - Crappie and Bluegill - I also call these bi-catch fish when fishing for Walleye and you land these instead. What I don't love to catch is Black Bullhead fish... but they were there. Oh well! Back in the water they went!
